Dedicated to increasing and sharing knowledge of the Berkeley coffeeshops and music venues of the 1960s, and the musicians who played there.
Thanks for posting this archive. (Am I reading the date correctly, that it just went up before I happened to look for it?) As a 14-year-old I saw Country Joe & the Fish at the faculty glade, Jefferson Airplane in a "panel discussion" with Ralph J. Gleason where they alternated playing songs and fielding questions (Q. "Do you think the Grateful Dead will ever be commercial?" A. "Yeah, I can just see 10,000 screaming teenyboppers chasing Pigpen down the street."), and the closing Greek concert. Quite an introduction for a kid to get.
