We have created an extensive list of performers at Berkeley's New Orleans House from the years of 1966 to 1969. However, we still have some periodic gaps. 1. Truly great - and the master list has been updated. August 3 also saw Barbara Dane perform and films shown in a Benefit for GI Coffee Houses. This was in the afternoon before The Fourth Way got it on in the evening. Also significant is the August 27 performance by Mendelbaum - their first of many at the New Orleans House - and many still to be documented shows at The Matrix.

  2. Wow. Great memories. My band 2nd Exit played there one night opening for The Fourth Way.
we also played the Babylon which later become the Longbranch and shared the bill with Eddie and the Rockets and Earthquake.

  4. Rather than have a bunch of separate comments, I deleted some and am consolidating here:

Aloha! My mother, Geraldine Duncann (aka Geraldine Wenker / Geri Yuen / Geraldine Shapter / Geraldine Orser) was a former owner of the New Orleans House. She was partners with Earl, this was prior to Katy Griffin's ownership.

    Anyone remember her?
